Sacred Heart Catholic School moved its operations to the former McClellan elementary school (59,000 square feet) in August 2000. Over 200 students are currently enrolled in the pre-K through 12h grade.

Sacred Heart school provides children with quality education in a friendly, open, atmosphere. The elementary curriculum offers art, music, Spanish, religion, and computers, as well as the core curriculum. A reading specialist serves grades 1-4 and assists students in developing their new reading skills.

High school course offerings include college prep level courses and dual enrollment courses (for college credit through Jacksonville State University.) This gives students the academic boost that they need to become the distinguished leaders of tomorrow! Sacred Heart also provides reading intervention for at risk students in grades 1-4. Students are encouraged to develop good reading and study skills.
